Hypnotherapy
Here at Urban Wellness, we often recommend hypnotherapy as part of our work together to help clients reframe thoughts and emotions, resolving challenges and support lasting change.
What is hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is a therapeutic practice that uses hypnosis to promote wellbeing and resolve various psychological challenges or mindset blocks that may be holding you back from achieving change.
When you are in a deeply relaxed and focused state, hypnotherapy can access your subconscious mind (the part responsible for all of your automatic responses), to help reframe any thought patterns and emotions, or resolve any underlying challenges that may be holding you back from lasting change.
For some clients there may be psychological blocks preventing them from moving forward with their journey to optimal health. Taking consistent action or making changes can feel like an insurmountable hurdle.
Hypnotherapy helps bridge that gap, facilitating shifts in mindset to allow the other work that you’re doing to have its effect.
Hypnotherapy can be beneficial for all sorts of issues, including:
-
Anxiety
-
OCD
-
Panic attacks
-
Phobias and fears
-
PTSD and trauma recovery
-
Low self-confidence
-
Cravings and habit control
